US troops’ withdrawal from Afghanistan begins

Kabul, May 1 (US) The withdrawal of US and NATO troops from Afghanistan began on Saturday. It would end two decades of American war in Afghanistan. US President Joe Biden officially set a May 1 withdrawal date. Under the decision, the remaining 2,500–3,000 American and 7,000 NATO troops would return. Preparations for major work started before Saturday.
