UNICEF sends 3,000 oxygen concentrations to India: Amore

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has supplied life-saving supplies to help India cope with the rising tide of Corona infection. This includes 3,000 oxygen concentrations, test equipment and other equipment. UNICEF has also pledged continued support to the Indian government. United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon Deputy Spokesperson Farhan Haq on Friday quoted Secretary-General Antonio Guterres as saying that he and the United Nations family were standing by the people during the difficult times of the Corona epidemic and were ready to help the country (India). The airline Boeing has announced a 10 million car assistance package for India battling the Corona epidemic. According to a company statement, Boeing will direct its local and international partners to provide medical supplies and emergency healthcare to help communities and families affected by the Corona epidemic. Boeing president and CEO Dave Callahan said, “The corona epidemic has affected various communities around the world and we are with our friend India, which is going through a very difficult time.” -PTI
