Two metro trains collided in Malaysia, more than 200 injured: Amore

More than 200 people were injured in a collision of two metro trains in a tunnel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This is the biggest accident in the 23-year-old metro system. Pictures posted on social media of last night’s collision show injured passengers and broken windows everywhere. Transport Minister V.K. Seong told local media that the metro train crashed into an empty train running into a tunnel near Petronas Towers, one of the highest twin towers in the country. “One vehicle was traveling at a speed of 20 kmph while the other was traveling at a speed of about 40 kmph,” he said. -PTI
