Sydney: Former Australian spinner Brad Hogg believes Ravichandran Ashwin (R Ashwin) should be part of the Indian ODI squad as he is the winner of the match. Brad Hogg said Ravichandran Ashwin (R Ashwin) specializes in getting wickets and he also strengthens the lower rank stick.
Responding to a fan’s tweet on social media, former Australian spinner Brad Hogg said it would be a good move to include Ravichandran Ashwin (R Ashwin) in the Indian squad for the 50-year-old format.
Brad Hogg was asked if Ravichandran Ashwin (R Ashwin) could make a comeback in ODI, he said: “I think it will be a great option. This will give the batting more strength in the lower order, so that the top notch hitters can play more openly.
Brad Hogg said, “He’s a bowler who takes the wicket and is also very economical. Add him to the team.
Besides 77 test matches, Ashwin has played 111 ODI and 46 T20 internationals. He hasn’t been part of India’s limited oversight team for a few years. He played his last ODI in June 2017.
