Ashwin won a total of 24 wickets in February, including a magnificent century in the opening rounds of the Second Test played against England in Chennai. Ravichandran Ashwin completed the record of winning India’s 400 fastest test wickets in this series of tests.

Ashwin reached this position on his 77th test. Before Ashwin, this record was in the name of Anil Kumble, who achieved this feat in 80 tests. The record for winning the 400 fastest test wickets in total is in the name of Muttiah Muralitharan of Sri Lanka. Ashwin is second in this episode.
Tammy Beaumont was also named Player of the Month
In addition to Ravichandran Ashwin, England opener Tammy Beaumont was respectively selected ICC male and female player of the month for the month of February. Beaumont had scored half centuries and scored a total of 231 points in all three games of the ODI three-game series against New Zealand.
