Nazi ideology still exists: Putin: Amore

Moscow, 9 May

Speaking on the anniversary of the end of World War II, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Nazi ideology still exists today and is firmly entrenched. Addressing a military parade in Moscow’s Red Square, Putin said he “strongly opposes any attempt to rewrite history to justify the actions of traitors and criminals.” He said that the blood of thousands of peace loving people was in the hands of such elements. Without elaborating, Putin said that many people still feel close to Nazi ideology and consider themselves to be the most isolated, and want to reinterpret this ideology. More than 190 military vehicles circled the square during the parade. The parade also included T-34 tanks used in World War II.
