Navdeep Saini to be India’s 299th cricketer | News in Hindi

Sydney: Fast bowler Navdeep Saini is set to become India’s 299th cricketer. He was included in the lineup for the third test match from January 7 against Australia (Australia), replacing injured Umesh Yadav.

Umesh was injured as he made his fourth round in Australia’s second round at the Melbourne test. Born in Karnal, Haryana, this fast bowler made his debut in international cricket in August 2019 and has played 7 ODI and 10 international T20s so far. Together with Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj, he will take charge of the fast bowling department. Saini played a practice match against Australia-A in Sydney in which he took 3 wickets.

Siraj made his test cricket debut with Shubman Gill in the second test match played in Melbourne. Gill will open the sleeves with Rohit Sharma in Sydney, who was included in the game XI, replacing in-form Mayank Agarwal.
