Indian bowler Mohammed Shami has said he is in great shape and ready to contribute on behalf of the Punjab Kings at the 2021 IPL starting April 9.

Was injured in Australia
In Adelaide’s first practice match on the Australia Tour, Mohammed Shami’s wrist was injured on fast pitcher Pat Cummins’ short ball. After that he remained associated with the National Cricket Academy for a long time and is now in great shape.

Shami said: “I am in great shape and ready to play. It was unfortunate to get injured at the bat as there was no fitness related issue for a long time, but there was nothing I could do about it. It’s part of the game.
