Israeli airstrikes in Gaza; Six killed: Amore

Israeli air strikes in the Gaza Strip killed six people today. A large family home was also destroyed in the attacks. Before the airstrike on Khan Younis, everyone in the house had a chance to escape. The Israeli military says rockets have been fired from Hamas-occupied territory and retaliated by targeting militant strongholds in the south. According to the army, 52 aircraft destroyed 40 militant underground bases in the cities of Khan Younis and Rafah within 25 minutes. Hamas-run Al-Aqsa Radio said one of its journalists had been killed in an airstrike. The fighting between Israel and the Palestinians began on May 10 when Hamas fired rockets at Palestinian protesters. So far more than 219 Palestinians have been killed in these attacks. -App
