Israel banned travel to India: Amore

JERUSALEM: Israel has temporarily banned the entry of its citizens into India. Travel to six other countries has also been banned. Therefore, increasing cases of Kovid have been cited. A joint statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Health stated that Israeli citizens would not be able to travel to Ukraine, Brazil, Ethiopia, South Africa, India, Mexico and Turkey. These orders will be effective from 3 May to 16 May. Although non-Israeli citizens can go to these countries, they must plan to live there permanently. This order will not apply to those who have spent 12 hours waiting for a contact flight at airports of any restricted country. The government has ordered the deployment of some representatives for special cases. -PTI
