Chennai: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) bought Indian test drummer Cheteshwar Pujara (Cheteshwar Pujara) at their base price for the 2021 Indian Premier League (IPL) season in a player auction released on Thursday in Chennai. The base price of Pujara was 50 lakh rupees. Other than that, Rowman Powell, Shaun Marsh, Corey Anderson, Darren Bravo (base price 7.5 million) were not sold.

Kolkata agreed to give Krishnappa up to one crore, but Hyderabad edged them out and offered up to five crore rupees for Krishnappa. After that, Chennai Super Kings also jumped into the offer and added the versatile Krishnappa with a strong offer of Rs 9.25 crore.
At the same time, wicket beater Vishnu Vinod was added by Delhi Capitals with a base price of 20 lakh rupees. Sheldon Jackson was included in his team by Kolkata Knight Riders at a base price of 20 lakh rupees.
Mohammad Azharuddin was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore at the accolade price of Rs 20 lakh. Wicket batsman Kedar Deodhar remained unsold despite his base price of 20 lakh. Apart from him, Vivek Singh remained unsold.
