New Delhi: The countdown to the 14th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 14) has now started. But before that, the 2016 winner Sunrisers Hyderabad suffered a major setback. The Hyderabad side had to lose Australian star Allrounder Marsh (Mitchell Marsh) to his side even before the 2021 IPL started.
Marsh doesn’t want to live in the bio-bubble
According to Cricbuzz, Mitchell Marsh said the reason he wasn’t competing in the IPL this year, saying he couldn’t stay in the bio-bubble for long. Explain that due to the increase in Corona virus cases, a bio-bubble has been introduced into cricket.
What is the bio bubble?
Given the risk of the coronavirus epidemic, a special area is prepared for all the players, coaches, support staff and match officials of a team, it is called “ Bio Bubble ”. There is no contact from any outside person in this area.
Marsh was also absent last year
This is not the first time in the IPL that Mitchell Marsh has come out. He had already abandoned the game last year while playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad. The Marshal (Mitchell Marsh) injured his ankle in the IPL 2020 opener in September last year, after which he was sent off from the entire league.
Sunrisers Hyderabad will start its IPL season this year from April 11. Hyderabad faces Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their first match.
