KKR won the title twice
Shahrukh Khan’s side have so far won the IPL title twice. KKR won the IPL title in 2012 and then in 2014 under the leadership of Gautam Gambhir. However, last season KKR couldn’t make it to the playoffs. This year, command of that team has been handed over to England national team captain Eion Morgan. In the auction this year, KKR included two legendary players like Harbhajan Singh and Shakib Al Hasan in their squad. Kolkata will face Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 11 in their first game this year.
