Indian High Commission dismisses report on coronation of officer’s wife: Amore

The Indian High Commission in Islamabad today reacted to reports that a local official’s wife had tested positive for Corona. The commission said that the RT-PCR report came negative after the woman reached here and Lahore. The High Commission of India said in a tweet that the RAT investigation of the wife of an officer of the Indian High Commission revealed that her report in the RT-PCR investigation was negative. Investigations were carried out on reaching Islamabad. There was also an RT-PCR report in Lahore. The State Department had earlier said that the Indian High Commission in Pakistan had asked 12 officials, including their families and drivers, to remain in solitude. Actually, one of them was confirmed to be Corona positive when he arrived here from India last week. -PTI
