Chahal and Shardul plunder the tracks
In this match, poor bowling became the reason for the loss of Team India. Yuzvendra Chahal and Shardul Thakur looted tracks. Shardul Thakur was the most expensive bowler. Shardul played 36 innings in 3.2 overs without bowling. Shardul had an economy rate of 10.80. Apart from Shardul Thakur, Yuzvendra Chahal took only one wicket taking 41 points in 4 overs. Yuzvendra Chahal was poor in the field and he also dropped a Johnny Bairstow hold in the 17th. Butler was fortunate enough to score 76 points when Kohli pulled off his easy catch off Chahal.
Jose Butler ferociously searched
England needed 30 points to win in the last five overs, and this time Chahal overcame any hope of India coming back by dribbling Bairstow off Shardul’s ball. Bairstow led England to victory with two straight quarterbacks over Shardul. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Hardik Pandya and Shardul Thakur did not have wickets. Jose Butler plundered the Indian bowlers and gave his England team a 2–1 lead in the series, hitting 83 steps out.
