New Delhi: Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar played against some of the best Australian teams of his time, but when he looks at the current batting order he finds it “ less stable ”, in which some players are playing to make the place.
Following India’s outright victory in the second test in Melbourne after an embarrassing loss to Adelaide, Tendulkar spoke about the performance of the Australian stick, Ajinkya Rahane captaincy and Melbourne debutants Mohammed Siraj and Shubman Gill.

Tendulkar (Sachin Tendulkar) said, “When I look at Australia’s current hitting order and some past hitting order, I think there was stability in the past hitting order. These players used to fight with a different spirit, but there isn’t a lot of stability in this team.
Tendulkar said: “There are players in this current Australian team who are not in good shape and are not sure of their place in the squad. In previous teams, these beaters played for them because there was a lot of stability in the batting order.
The highlight of the series was also the battle between Ravichandran Ashwin and Steve Smith and Tendulkar explained why this senior off-spinner managed to dominate the batsman.
He said: “ Smith came out on the arm-ball on the first test or you can call it a straight ball, which Ashwin throws differently. The off-spinner’s right ball comes out of the box quickly.
Tendulkar (Sachin Tendulkar) recounted how Ashwin got the turn and the rebound. He said: “In the second test, the ball didn’t come out quickly but the fingers were over the ball so that the bounce and the turn were found.”

Tendulkar (Sachin Tendulkar) said, “Smith played the normal movie as a regular break. Whoever made the batsman and the defender was there for it.
The veteran batsman said, “Ashwin had made some really good plans for this ball and this wicket. Both are world class players so someone’s day will be better and so far Ashwin has been the winner of the first two tests.
