Ahmedabad: Against England (England), Team India won a resounding 10 wicket victory at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad (Ahmedabad). With that, the host took a 2-1 lead in the 4-game series.

Following the victory, Team India reached the top of the ICC World Test Championship points table and the England team were knocked out of the Lord’s Ground final.

How to get the final ticket?
The fourth and final Test of the series between India and England (IND vs ENG) will be played in Ahmedabad from March 4th. The Indian team will need to win or draw to qualify for the final of the ICC World Test Championship. New Zealand have already qualified for the final.

How is the current points table?
The ICC said: “England came down in the points table with 64.1% and India topped it with 71%. England are out of the race to advance to the ICC World Test Championship final after losing the third test to India in Ahmedabad.

England missed a chance
England were due to win the series 3-1 to play in the WTC final to be held June 18-22. New Zealand confirmed their place in the final by 70%. If India loses in the fourth test, then Australia will advance to the final, which sits in third place with 69.2%.
