Paul Shatter, Denmark’s longest-serving prime minister, has died. He was 92 years old. Conservative leader Sren Pepe Paulsen said in a statement released by the party on Friday that Paul Shatter, who served as Denmark’s prime minister from 1982 to 1993, had died on Thursday. He breathed his last in the presence of his family members. He said that a dear family member and an important person of the country were lost. In a statement, Prime Minister Matteo Fredriksson condoled the death of Paul Shatter, saying “he was a statesman and a good man who left a lasting impression on the people of Denmark.” -agency
