New Delhi: Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia presented Delhi’s 2021-22 budget to the House this morning. Sisodia (Manish Sisodia) said in the budget that in the coming time the Delhi government could host big games like the Delhi Olympics. He said his infrastructure will be prepared for the hosting of the Delhi Olympics.
The Olympic event in Delhi is a dream
Presenting Delhi’s budget for 2021-2022, Manish Sisodia said: “There is another great Games-related dream that I am bringing to this House. To host the Olympic Games in Delhi. We are dreaming.” He said that since the start of the Olympics in Greece in 1896, the Olympic torch has never been to Delhi.
The Olympics could be held in Delhi this year
Manish Sisodia said Delhi could host the Olympic Games in 2048. He said: “The 32nd Olympic Games will be held in Tokyo. The following three hosts have already been selected. Our government wants to create sports facilities and create such an atmosphere that we can claim to host the 39th Olympic Games in 2048. He said: “ There is a lot of time in there, but we have to claim 10 years before 2048. Before 15 years will have to be devoted to infrastructures and the sporting environment so that our players can win medals in competitions.
Sisodia (Manish Sisodia) added that this year a sports university will also be launched. The 1951, 1982 Asian Games and the 2010 Commonwealth Games were held in Delhi.
