Corona: Lockdown imposed again in Melbourne: Amore

Melbourne, May 27

Here again the lockdown has been done from midnight tonight. After a total of 26 cases in Victoria, the government has announced for the fourth time strict restrictions that will remain in place for the next seven days. These include a ban on leaving the house without work within a radius of five kilometers for essential goods. Normal traffic has been disrupted in the city and regional areas. About 150 sites have been identified from where cases of infection have been reported. Other states in the country, including Melbourne, have tightened their borders with Victoria. The new cases are being reported of the corona variety B1.617 found in India. The Health Department has also expressed the possibility of rapid spread of infection in urban areas due to the arrival of a case of corona positive despite isolation after international travel, due to which restrictions have been imposed in the entire state. The government has banned people from leaving the country and the international border is almost closed to the public.

Opposition criticized the government

Opposition parties have accused the government and the government of not keeping the isolation centers under its control and keeping the returnees in hotels. Prime Minister Scott Morrison has denied the allegations. Vaccination continues in the country and people are opting for Pfizer vaccine after the latest lockdown.
