‘Biden administration enhances alliance with India on many levels’: Amore

The State Department says that relations between India and the US have reached new heights in the first 100 days of Biden’s administration. State Department spokesman Ned Price said that the coordination between the two countries during this period reflected a wider global partnership. The spokesman said that during the first 100 days, the Biden administration has paid special attention to India. During a daily press conference, Price said that Beiden had mentioned India in his speech last night that the United States was committed to deepening relations with India. He said that Biden had recently approached Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In addition, Indian Foreign Minister S.W. Jaishankar was interviewed by US Secretary of State Tony Blinken. A US State Department spokesman also referred to the visit of the President’s Special Envoy John Kerry to India. Defense Minister Lloyd Austin has also visited India. He said that the US has increased its partnership with India at various levels.
