Melbourne: The mission of the world’s best tennis player, Novak Djokovic, to win the 9th Australian Open title has suffered a setback. In the third round game on Friday, he looked upset due to muscle tension.

After Serbian Novak Djokovic’s 17th consecutive victory over American Taylor Fritz in a straight-set match, he said he might not be able to play the next match due to hamstring strain.

In the fourth round, they will face Milos Raonic on Sunday. Due to an injury during the match, Djokovic had to seek help from doctors, for whom he took medical leave.

Despite the injury, he won the match 7-6 6-4 3-6 4-6 6-2. Asked about the injury, he said: “What has been revealed so far is muscle tension. I don’t know if I will be able to overcome this just yet.

Regarding the next game against Milos Raonic, he said: “I don’t know if I will be able to enter the field or not”. However, fans want to see him win the 2021 Australian Open.
