Eminent Punjabi writer and thinker Ajit Singh Rahi died today in Griffith, Australia after a brief illness. He was born in Semra Jandiala village of Lailpur district in Pakistan and his village was in Sauna Nawanshahar district in East Punjab. Ajit Singh’s book, The Sutlej Flaws, is a historical document on the life of Bhagat Singh. He wrote his autobiography titled ‘Half a Century Journey’. Apart from this, his books on Rajguru, Chandra Shekhar Azad and Bhagat Singh’s uncle Ajit Singh were also published. Various social and literary organizations have expressed grief over his demise.
