Mumbai: Indian team opener Prithvi Shaw and left arm stimulator Arjun Tendulkar were selected among Mumbai’s 104 probable for the Vijay Hazare Trophy. The names of these players were announced by the Mumbai Cricket MCA on their website.
Arjun Tendulkar (Arjun Tendulkar), son of legendary drummer Sachin Tendulkar, recently made his debut for the Mumbai senior squad against Haryana in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. This 21 year old fast bowler has played for the Indian team at nets in the past.

Prithvi Shaw was part of the Indian team that won the series 2–1 in Australia. However, he was only able to play test matches in Adelaide, where hosts Australia beat India by 8 wickets.
Besides Arjun and Prithvi, Shreyas Iyer, versatile Shivam Dubey, Suryakumar Yadav, Aditya Tare, Siddhesh Lad, young openers Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sarfaraz Khan and Armaan Jaffer were included in the list of 104 players.
Veteran fast bowler Dhawal Kulkarni was also selected to the squad for the camp as of February 1. The BCCI has decided not to hold the Ranji Trophy this season but the Vijay Hazare Trophy will take place.
