Canberra: Indian veteran Sunil Gavaskar made a big statement about Kuldeep Yadav’s performance. Gavaskar said Kuldeep Yadav appears to be back on pace and India may have a chance to replace Yuzvendra Chahal in the T20 international opener.
Kuldeep, who replaced Chahal in the third ODI against Australia, played well in the middle of the passes which helped the Indian team stop the Australian beaters. The left arm wrist thrower plundered 57 runs in his quota of 10 and also took the wicket from Cameron Green.

Gavaskar (Sunil Gavaskar) said: “Kuldeep looked well paced. He played for a long time. I think they can be tried at least until the first international T20 and see how it goes ”.
The T20 three-game series kicks off from Friday.
Gavaskar (Sunil Gavaskar) also believes that if Hardik Pandya can play two or three overs in the shorter format it will be good for India. He said: “If Hardik throws two overs in T20 format it will take the pressure off the other bowlers and Kohli will have more options.”
On the contrary, Gavaskar was so impressed with Pandya’s batting performance that he wants this all-rounder to beat at number four in the T20 if the top three batsmen beat for at least 14 overs.
Virat read the praises of these players after winning, explains the real reason for the win
He said: “ I think Lokesh Rahul, who has scored around 700 points in IPL and Shikhar Dhawan, the most comfortable in T20 lately, should start the innings after which Virat Kohli comes. ”
Gavaskar (Sunil Gavaskar) said: “If they stay until the 14th or 15th, then Hardik Pandya should get to number four or if two wickets fall in the power play, Shreyas Iyer should come”.
