Bangkok: India’s top badminton player Saina Nehwal has proven positive for Corona and for that reason, she withdrew her name from the Thailand Open from here on Tuesday.

The Indian Badminton Association has also confirmed this. BAI tweeted and said Saina Corona was rated positive.

Saina Nehwal was found positive after the third round test on Monday. Saina was due to play her first game on the first day of the tournament on Tuesday.

Saina had already competed in the All England Open in March of last year.

BAI said in his tweet that aside from Saina Nehwal, India’s main male player HS Prannoy has also tested positive for Corona.

Kashyap will also have a corona test

Apart from that, Parupalli Kashyap, husband of Saina Nehwal, was also taken to hospital as he will also be tested for corona.
