Melbourne: Opener Rohit Sharma joined the Indian squad on Wednesday ahead of the third test match against Australia on January 7 in Sydney. The Indian team posted a video on Wednesday, in which Rohit is seen entering the team’s hotel and having a meeting with the team’s staff.
The Indian team made a superb comeback in Melbourne to tie the four-game 1–1 streak after being sacked for 36 in their first test match in Adelaide. Rohit’s return will now strengthen the team.

Rohit Sharma joined the team in Melbourne after completing a quarantine in Sydney after recovering from a hamstring injury.

Rohit, who made the Mumbai Indians the IPL Champions for the fifth time under his captain’s post, was injured during the IPL. However, despite this, he played qualifier 1 and the final. After that he went to the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.
Rohit Sharma arrived in Australia in mid-December before the start of the test series and was in quarantine.
Earlier, team head coach Ravi Shastri said on Tuesday that Rohit would join the team on Wednesday.
