New Delhi: Players were nominated in Chennai on Thursday ahead of the start of the 2021 IPL. World cricket stars won crore rupees at this year’s auction. But some IPL teams did not bid on more players this time around. These include Sunrisers Hyderabad. Hyderabad has only added three new players to its squad.
Kedar Jadhav has a place
Kedar Jadhav, unsold in the first round of the auction, was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for its base price of 2 crore in the second round. Jadhav last played for the Chennai Super Kings. Besides Jadhav, Hyderabad also included Jagdeesha Suchit and Afghan spinner Mujib ur Rehman in their squad.
