Sydney: Ashwin (Ravichandran Ashwin) was in a lot of pain on Sunday night and couldn’t even stand up when he woke up on Monday morning. Ashwin’s wife, Prithi, gave this information. Ashwin shared a 62-innings partnership with Hanuma Vihari on Monday, the fifth and final day of the third test match played at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) and drew while hitting hard.
Ashwin scored 29 steps on 128 balls. Both beaters hit for over 40 overs.
After the test match, Ashwin’s wife tweeted: ‘This person slept in great pain at night. When I woke up this morning, I couldn’t even stand up. He couldn’t even bow down to tie his shoes. I am surprised at what Ravichandran Ashwin did today.

Ashwin (Ravichandran Ashwin) had to show up in the batting order because Ravindra Jadeja’s thumb is injured. He suffered a batting injury in the opening innings.
Speaking to the broadcaster after the game, Ashwin said hitting was difficult, especially in front of Pat Cummins.
He said, Cummins was playing differently. There was a double bounce on the court, so it was difficult to play in front of Cummins.
Ashwin (Ravichandran Ashwin), 34, posted a few photos on Instagram after the match ended and wrote: ‘The photo says it all, the feeling I can’t express in words. Thanks to all my teammates.
Ashwin has so far scored 78 points in three games in this series and has won a total of 12 wickets.
The four-game streak is currently 1–1. Australia and India would now like to win the fourth test from Brisbane on Friday.
