Cricket Australia said: “David Warner was injured in the ODI series against Team India and he has not yet fully recovered from this serious injury. In such a situation he will not attend the second Test Match, as Sean Abbott suffered a considerable injury in the touring practice match against India A for Australia. They have recovered from this, but Boxing Day will not be available for test match selection.
