IND vs ENG: Irfan Pathan urges India to face Kuldeep Yadav in test series against England | IND vs ENG: Irfan Pathan told Kuldeep Yadav ‘Irresistible’, said left arm spinners are unavailable every day

New Delhi: Former Indian fast pitcher Irfan Pathan has recommended Kuldeep Yadav be included in the squad in the next round of testing against England. Pathan described Kuldeep as part of the Indian team in the Test series from February 5, calling the left arm wrist tops “unique”.

‘Kuldeep is a unique melon’

Pathan (Irfan Pathan) said Kuldeep Yadav is a unique bowler and he should have a chance in the Indian team. Pathan told PTI, “He’s a unique bowler. He is between 25 and 26 years old and this is the age when he will reach maturity. Whenever he gets the chance, whether it’s the first or the second test, he will desperately need to perform well and I have no doubts he will.

Team leadership will support Kuldeep

Pathan (Irfan Pathan) has said he is confident the team’s leadership will support Kuldeep Yadav. Pathan said, “From a team management point of view, it is very important to know how to maintain the mentality of the non-playing player. I think they’re doing the right thing and that’s why some young players have done well. I am sure he will support Kuldeep Yadav because he is very talented. You don’t get left arm spinners every day.

Kuldeep is out of the test team as of January 2019

Kuldeep Yadav played his last test match against Australia in January 2019. He hasn’t had a chance on the test team since.
