New Delhi: Team India suffered a big setback. All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja came out of the three-game T20 series with Australia. Jadeja suffered a head injury in the T20 opener in Canberra. He had suffered a concussion and had replaced him as Yuzvendra Chahal’s substitute.
In the match, Ravindra Jadeja was hitting brilliantly, during which he put the ball on the helmet and was seen moaning in pain. Although he finished his stick even after that, but now he is out of the 2 remaining games.

Now the BCCI has released a statement confirming this. BCCI said Jadeja is still under the supervision of the BCCI medical team. He is due to undergo major scans on Saturday.

Fast bowler Shardul Thakur has been included in the squad instead of versatile Ravindra Jadeja.
After that, the All India selection committee included Thakur in the T20 series squad. He was part of the squad in the three-game ODI series and also performed effectively in the third game.
