Adelaide: Exchange reports on the venue of the ongoing four-game test series between India and Australia (IND vs AUS) are released due to the increase in Kovid-19 cases in Sydney. Meanwhile, Cricket Australia has made it clear that Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) is still their first choice for the third test venue.
The third test match between Team India and Australia (IND vs AUS) will be played in Sydney from January 7th while the last will be played in Brisbane on January 15th.
Australian cricket officials have been alerted after an outbreak of the virus on beaches in northern Sydney. According to reports, “The third and fourth test match exchanges between Sydney and Brisbane are the best choices. If that happens, the fourth test match of the series will be played in Sydney from January 15-19.
But Cricket Australia CEO Nick Hockley said he expected the third test match between India and Australia to be held in Sydney. “We haven’t made any changes in the schedule and this is our first choice to have a (third) game at Sydney Cricket Ground,” Hawkley said in a statement.

He said: “ Cricket Australia has put in place concrete arrangements for the smooth running of matches during this very difficult time, we are working with our biosecurity team, governments, provincial and regional associations, the Australian Cricketers’ Association , our partners and officials from Venuz. Will continue to make the appropriate decisions together.
Australian opener David Warner and fast pitcher Sean Abbott, both recovering from an injury due to an increase in Kovid-19, have moved from Sydney to Melbourne, where the Boxing Day Test (second test) is to be played at from December 26.
According to the report, along with the second test, the third test match can also take place in Melbourne.
