BCCI wrote in a statement: “Indian team batsman Rohit Sharma has completed his rehabilitation process at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore and is in good shape.”
The statement said, “The NCA medical team is fully satisfied with Rohit’s physical condition. The medical team has tested him on parameters such as bat, fielding and running between the wickets and he is happy with his position. They will however have to work on their strengths.
Rohit will be leaving for Australia soon
Upon arriving in Australia, he will be quarantined for two weeks and then join the team. But the decision on his game in the last two matches of the Test Series will be made after reassessment by the team’s medical team.
In a statement released by the BCCI, he said: “They have been given a detailed two-week isolation program in Australia, which will need to be followed. Once the separation is complete, the Indian team’s medical team will examine them based on which their participation in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy will be decided.
