New Delhi: Former legendary drummer Yuvraj Singh (Yuvraj Singh) of the Indian team has been in trouble. Hisar police in Haryana filed an FIR for making objectionable comments against Dalits about Yuvraj.

What was the problem?

Yuvraj Singh was in a live Instagram conversation with Rohit Sharma during the lockdown last year. During this time, he used a reprehensible word against the Dalits. He had said this word to Yuzvendra Chahal. After which, he was heavily criticized by fans. However, Yuvraj Singh later apologized publicly.

The complaint was filed in June last year

Dalit human rights official Rajat Kalsan lodged a complaint on June 2 last year against Yuvraj Singh for using objectionable language against Dalits and demanding his arrest. This complaint was filed against Yuvraj at the Hansi Town Police Station in Hisar. In addition to articles 153, 153A, 295, 505 of the IPC, articles of the law SC / ST have been imposed on them.

Yuvraj won two World Cups for India

Yuvraj was instrumental in India winning the 2007 T20 World Cup and winning the 2011 World Cup. Yuvraj was also the 2011 World Cup tournament player. Yuvraj Singh played a total of 40 tests, 304 ODI and 58 T20 for India.
