Mumbai: After winning the Test Series in Australia, all Team India players returned to India. 5 of these cricketers reached Mumbai (Mumbai). They were advised to stay in home quarantine for the next 7 days.

India’s interim captain Ajinkya Rahane, senior batsman Rohit Sharma, fast pitcher Shardul Thakur, opener Prithvi Shaw and head coach Ravi Shastri arrived in Mumbai from Australia on Thursday morning.

Brihanmumbai City Commissioner (BMC Commissioner) Iqbal Singh Chahal said: “Players have been advised to remain in home quarantine for 7 days.”

Despite injury to many players, India won the series 2-1, beating Australia by 3 wickets in the fourth and final test match in Brisbane on January 19, retaining the Border-Gavaskar trophy.

Ajinkya Rahane, Ravi Shastri, Rohit Sharma, Shardul Thakur and Prithvi Shaw were greeted by Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) officials upon their arrival in Mumbai. Rahane also cut a cake to celebrate the team’s victory.
